The invention relates to a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle with a wheel carrier (1) and a plurality of control arms (3, 4, 5), which are each connected to the wheel carrier (1) via a control arm connection (7, 8, 9). The wheel carrier (1) has a shell body (28) made of sheet metal with a base (29) and a side wall (30). The shell body (28) is partially closed by a cover sheet (33), whereby the shell body (28) is braced. At least one control arm connection (7) has a bearing receptacle fixed in the side wall (30) of the shell body (28), in which a bearing (10) is accommodated. The control arm (3) attached to this control arm connection (7) surrounds the bearing receptacle (34). Preferably, the bearing receptacle (34) is a sleeve or is designed as a through-passage in the side wall (30) of the shell body (28).
