The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an injector valve (1) for an internal combustion engine. The injector valve (1) comprises a valve body (5) with a valve head (6), which has at least one spray hole (10). The valve head (6) is designed to be arranged at least partially in a combustion chamber (4) of the internal combustion engine or to be oriented at least directly toward it. The valve head (6) is coated at least in sections with a coating using at least the following steps: - Flowing a fluid through the valve body (5), wherein the fluid exits the valve head (6) through the spray hole (10), - Applying at least in sections an enamel slip to the valve head (6) through which fluid flows, - Drying the enamel slip applied to the valve head (6), - Heating the enamel slip applied to the valve head (6) to form an enamel coating (9). [0002] Furthermore, the invention is directed to an injector valve (1) for an internal combustion engine, in particular manufactured according to the above method.
