RIM PROTECTION ELEMENT FOR A VEHICLE SLIDING PROTECTION DEVICE

The invention relates to a rim protection element for a vehicle anti-skid device. In order to provide a rim protection element by which damage to rims by anti-skid devices can be avoided as much as possible, the invention provides a rim protection element (1) for an anti-skid device (30), wherein the rim protection element (1) is designed to be collapsible about a longitudinal axis (2) and is provided on mutually collapsible wings (6, 7) with mutually complementary connecting elements (20, 21) for holding the wings (6, 7) together, and wherein the wings (6, 7) have ears (8, 9) projecting on respectively opposite sides in the direction of the longitudinal axis (2), which are provided with mutually complementary fastening elements (12, 13) for attachment to another rim protection element (1).
