A cable (7; 100) for an anti-return device (5), particularly for anti-skid devices (2), said cable (7;100) being able to be pulled in order to bring an anti-skid device (2) under tension upon passing in the anti-return device (5) which allows the cable (7) to slide only in a direction for tensioning said anti-skid device (2) and not in the opposite direction for slackening thereof, the cable (7) comprising a core (71; 102) from which a series of stop elements (70; 101) of limited longitudinal size protrude radially.
