The invention relates to a pedal force generating device with a piston which is arranged to be displaceable in a housing, wherein the piston is displaceable in the housing between a first end position and a second end position, wherein a first energy storage device is arranged in the housing, wherein the piston is displaceable counter to the restoring force of the first energy storage device, and wherein at least one further second energy storage device acts on the piston, which changes its force effect on the piston between the first end position and the second end position.
