The invention relates to a pedal force simulation device comprising a housing with a double piston displaceably arranged therein, comprising a first piston and a second piston, wherein the first piston and the second piston are connected to each other via a piston rod, wherein the housing has a first cylinder chamber and a second cylinder chamber, wherein the first piston is displaceably arranged in the first cylinder chamber and the second piston is displaceably arranged in the second cylinder chamber, with an energy storage device, wherein the pistons are displaceable against the restoring force of the energy storage device, with a first bore arranged in the housing and with a second bore arranged in the housing, wherein the first bore ventilates the first cylinder chamber, wherein upon the first piston traversing the first bore the first cylinder chamber is sealed off, wherein the second bore ventilates the second cylinder chamber, wherein upon the second piston traversing the second bore the second cylinder chamber is sealed off and the first cylinder chamber is ventilated.
