The invention relates to a hook-lift truck comprising a frame (4), a lifting device attached to the frame (4) with two boom arms (8) pivotable about a common pivot axis (10) running near the rear of the hook-lift truck and normally lying horizontally, for raising and lowering an interchangeable container (6) positioned between the boom arms (8) to be suspended thereon and equipped with a tipping bearing pin arrangement, such that the interchangeable container (6) can be moved in a container exchange operating mode by pivoting the boom arms (8) over the rear of the hook-lift truck to be loaded onto it or set down from it, and in a tipping operating mode can be moved into a tipped position while remaining on the hook-lift truck, a hydraulic drive device with at least one hydraulic lifting cylinder (16) for pivoting the boom arms (8) about the pivot axis (10), a tipping hook arrangement with at least one tipping hook (24) movable between a passive position and an engaged position for engagement with an interchangeable container (6) at its tipping bearing pin arrangement (30b) in the tipping operating mode, a support device with extendable and retractable support feet (22) for supporting and stabilizing the hook-lift truck on the ground, a control device (20) for controlling operating functions of the hook-lift truck including the pivoting movements of the boom arms (8), the extension and retraction movements of the support feet (22) and the movements of the at least one tipping hook (24), and an operating device (40) with operating elements (40-54) for issuing control commands to the control device (20) and for activating the operating functions, wherein the control device (20) can be activated by means of the operating device (40) to execute at least one operating sequence program, according to which certain operating functions of the hook-lift truck are automatically activated and controlled in a time-coordinated sequence.
