Vehicle seat protective covers (1) are used in particular during the manufacturing and maintenance of vehicles to protect the vehicle seat against soiling. The vehicle seat protective cover (1) according to the invention has a front layer (3) and a back layer (2). The back layer (2) is formed with a plastic film (24). In contrast, the front layer (3) is formed with a nonwoven (25), whereby the nonwoven (25) is welded to the plastic film (24). As a result, the vehicle seat protective cover (1) is pleasant to use, in particular when wearing shorts. The vehicle seat protective cover (1) also enables, through the use of the nonwoven (25), evaporation of moisture from the vehicle seat and is possibly particularly low in noise.
