Motor vehicle, comprising a device for detecting a distance to an obstacle located in the vicinity of the vehicle as well as for outputting a warning information upon reaching a defined minimum distance to the obstacle, wherein as warning information by means of at least one lighting device (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) a light signal (14) can be emitted, which is visible at least outside the vehicle (1).
