DRIVE
August 12, 2015
The invention relates to a trailer coupling for a motor vehicle (12), in particular a passenger motor vehicle (12), for attaching a trailer (17) to the motor vehicle (12), with a coupling body support (13) that can be fastened to the motor vehicle (12) and a coupling body (15) arranged at a free end region of the coupling body support (13), in particular externally spherical in shape, onto which a drawbar coupling receptacle (18) of a drawbar coupling (16) of the trailer (17) can be placed, wherein the coupling body (15) forms for the drawbar coupling receptacle (18) a bearing body rotatably supporting the same for in particular multi-axis pivoting articulation relative to the coupling body support (13). In the trailer coupling (10), it is provided that it has a drive body (33) rotatably mounted on the coupling body (15), in particular ring-shaped, which is drivable by the drawbar coupling receptacle (18) and is rotatable relative to the coupling body (15) and forms a component of a sensor arrangement (30) for detecting an angular position of the drawbar coupling (16) relative to the coupling body support (13).
