The invention relates to a door module (30, 31) for a rail vehicle (1), comprising a door leaf (40..44) and a door seal (50..54), wherein the door seal (50..54) is arranged at the edge of the door leaf (40..44) and in the closed state of the door leaf (40..44) is at least partially visible from the outside (A). The door seal (50..54) is colored, at least in the stated visible area, white or in color with a color saturation of ≥ 0% to < 20% and a brightness of ≥ 80%, with a color saturation of ≥ 20% to < 40% and a brightness of ≥ 60% or with a color saturation of ≥ 40% and a brightness of ≥ 40%, wherein the values are in particular referenced to an HSB color model.
