Multi-function storage tray (1), which is designed as an approximately rectangular storage space (2) consisting of a front wall (3), a rear wall (4), side walls (5) and a bottom (6), wherein in the rear wall (4) a hollow space (7) is present, in which at least one holding element (8) pivotable about a bolt (9) and furthermore in the hollow space (7) on the rear wall (4) an unlocking mechanism (15) cooperating with the holding element (8) are arranged, where the unlocking mechanism (15) consists of a pivotably arranged unlocking lever (16) which has a shorter lever arm (17), on which the unlocking lug (18) is arranged, and a longer lever arm (20), on which the unlocking button (21) and furthermore a tension spring (22) are arranged, which is connected at one end to the longer lever arm (20) and at the second end to the housing of the multi-function storage tray (1).
