Fastening device for cables

The present invention relates to a fastening device (10) for cables with at least one edge clip part (12) for attaching the fastening device (10) to an edge (K) of a base part, wherein the edge clip part (12) has a snap-on slot (18) into which the edge (K) is inserted when snapping the edge clip part (12) onto the edge (K), wherein at least one protective tab (24, 26) is provided, which is hinged to a boundary wall (28, 30) of the snap-on slot (18) and extends toward an opposite boundary wall (28, 30) of the snap-on slot (18), wherein for the protective tab (24, 26) on the opposite boundary wall (28, 30) of the snap-on slot (18) a recess (36, 38) is provided, into which the tip (25, 27) of the protective tab (24, 26) partially engages in the unloaded state of the edge clip part (12).
