A stowable computer workstation ("SCW", 104, 200, 404) for a workplace (100) within a vehicle (102, 402) is described, where the workplace (100) has an inner sidewall (106, 408) of the vehicle (102, 402). The SCW (104, 200, 404) may include a video display mount assembly (112, 206, 416, 500) and a deployment support (114, 208) attached to the video display mount assembly (112, 206, 416, 500). The deployment support (114, 208) is configured to deploy and stow the video display mount assembly (112, 206, 416, 500) against the inner sidewall (106, 408) and the deployment support (114, 208) is secured to the inner sidewall (106, 408).
