Valve for metering fluid
DRIVE
May 13, 2015
A valve for metering fluid is provided which has an electromagnet (15) for actuating a valve needle (13) controlling a metering opening. The electromagnet (15) has an outer pole (21), a hollow cylindrical inner pole (22), an armature (23) displaceable on the valve needle (13), and a working air gap (24) bounded by the armature (23) and inner pole (22). On mutually facing-away sides of the armature (23), a driver (25) and an armature stop (27) are each fixedly arranged on the valve needle (13), which limit a free or pre-stroke path (26) of the armature (23) relative to the valve needle (13) that is smaller than the axial gap width of the working air gap (24). The valve needle (13) and driver (25) consist of a magnetically conductive material, and between the armature (23) and valve needle (13), a non-magnetic separating sleeve (33) firmly connected to the armature (23) is arranged with a stop surface (331) cooperating with a stop shoulder (251) on the driver (25).
