Motor vehicle, comprising at least one driver assistance system (2), wherein the motor vehicle (1) is controllable by a driver in a first operating mode of the driver assistance system (2), wherein the driver assistance system (2) is designed to temporarily switch to a second operating mode upon determining, by evaluating ego data concerning the motor vehicle (1) and/or environmental data concerning the motor vehicle surroundings, with a probability that exceeds a predetermined minimum probability, a future departure from and/or an occurred departure from the roadway (21, 27, 33, 40, 47), in which the steering of the motor vehicle (1) is performed autonomously by the driver assistance system (2) without any intervention possibility by the driver.
