The invention relates to a lighting device (10, 50, 70, 80) with a plate-like light guide (12), a front-side light exit section (26), a collective reflection surface (30), which comprises a narrow side surface (32) delimiting the light guide (12) at the rear, and with a light coupling device (24) comprising at least one light coupling surface (36) and at least one deflection surface (38), which is configured to redirect light that can be radiated onto the deflection surface (38) through the light coupling surface (36) to the collective reflection surface (30), wherein the collective reflection surface (30) is configured such that the light directed from the deflection surface (38) onto the collective reflection surface (30) is redirected to the light exit section (26). In this regard, a plurality of light sources (14) is provided and the deflection surface (38) is subdivided into a corresponding plurality of reflection surface sections (40, 40', 40'', 40'''), wherein each reflection surface section (40, 40', 40'', 40''') is assigned to each light source (14) in such a manner that a portion of the light of the respective light source (14) is directed via the assigned reflection surface section (40, 40', 40'', 40''') to the collective reflection surface (30).
