DEVICE FOR CLAMPING AN OBJECT COMPRISING A BELT

The clamping device comprises a belt (10) having at least a first and a second clamping end (11A, 12A) and a clamping member (14) which connects the two clamping ends by being retained with respect to the latter such that tightening of the clamping member displaces the first and second clamping ends relative to one another by clamping the belt. The clamping member (14) is retained with respect to at least the first clamping end (12A) via a spring (24) and a connecting piece (26) such that tightening of the clamping member (14) tends to displace the connecting piece (26) relative to the first clamping end (12A) against the elastic restoring force of the spring. The connecting piece (26) is capable of occupying, with respect to the first clamping end (12A), a waiting position in which it maintains the spring (24) with respect to the first clamping end.
