Passenger car pneumatic tire with a nominal sidewall height (H) of 115 mm or less, having a substantially air-impermeable inner layer (2), having bead regions (4) each having at least one bead core (5), having sidewalls (7) each having at least one sidewall strip (8) and having a single-ply carcass (9), which extends through the tire from bead region (4) to bead region (4), wraps around the bead regions (4) from axially inward to axially outward and is designed as a carcass turnup (9a), wherein the end of the carcass turnup (9a) is arranged at a height which lies radially above the bead region (4). It is the object of the invention to provide a tire which is comparatively cost-effective to manufacture, which is comparatively light in weight and which is improved in its durability and driving behavior. The object is achieved in that the height of the end of the carcass turnup (9b) is arranged in a first height range (10) of 18 mm to 37 mm, preferably of 20 mm to 30 mm, and in that the height of the radially outer end of the bead region (4b) is arranged in a second height range (11) of 13 mm to 21 mm, preferably of 15 mm to 18 mm, in each case measured from the lower edge of the bead core (5) in the radial direction (rR).
