Vehicle tire with a tread comprising at least one profile rib (1, 2) bounded on both sides by respective circumferential grooves (4, 5), which is provided with groove-incision combinations (K, K', K", K‴) each consisting of a transverse groove (9) opening into at least one circumferential groove (4, 5) and exactly one incision (10) passing the rib centerline (mPR) in plan view, wherein the incision (10) originates from the groove bottom (9c) and extends in plan view in the direction of extension of the transverse groove (9). The incision (10) extends uninterruptedly from the groove bottom (9c) and terminates within the profile rib (1, 2) closed on both sides, wherein in the extension region of the incision (10) adjacent to a groove flank (9b) at least one local depression (11) open to the tread periphery is formed.
