SOFT TOP FOR A VEHICLE ROOF THAT CAN BE OPENED

The invention relates to a convertible top (20) for an openable vehicle roof (2), which has at least two top sections (22, 24, 26), wherein a front first top section (22) is coupleable with a windshield cross member (5), wherein at least one top section (22, 26) is configured to be slidable and a rear second top section (24) is configured to be pivotable and/or lowerable. According to the invention, a third top section (26) is configured to be flexible and is arranged between the first top section (22) and second top section (24) and is driven by a self-supporting push and/or pull device (30), wherein the third top section (26) is foldable over the rear second top section (24) during an opening process in such a manner that after the folding process an outer side of the third top section (26) faces an outer side of the second top section (24).
