ROTARY LIGHTING AND/OR SIGNALLING MODULE
DRIVE
December 23, 2015
A projector comprises a set of at least two lighting and/or signaling modules, notably for a motor vehicle, wherein each module comprises an optical system comprising means for deflecting (20) light rays emitted by a light source (22) so as to form a primary light beam toward the front of the vehicle, the addition of the primary light beams forming at the output a global light beam of said set. Each module is mounted mobile in rotation to laterally displace the corresponding primary light beam. And a control device is capable of developing, distinctly for each module, control instructions for rotating the optical system. The invention also relates to a method of controlling such a projector wherein one or more modules are controlled in rotation to achieve lighting adapted to a determined driving situation based on the analysis of state information of the road scene and/or the vehicle.
