This system (1) comprises first and second modules (2, 3). Each module (2, 3) comprises light sources (4) and optical means (8, 10). In each module, the optical means (8, 10) form, from the light emitted by the sources (4), a light spot per source (4), each spot having the shape of a light band with a generally rectangular shape. The light spots formed by each module (2, 3) are substantially parallel to a main direction common to all the spots of this module (2, 3). The first module (2) forms spots according to a first direction, and the second module (3) forms spots according to a second direction not parallel to the first.
