The invention relates to an arrangement (1) of a storage element (2) supported by a support structure (10) under a roof lining (3), and above the loading floor (8) of the passenger compartment (4) of a vehicle, and for access to said element (2) at least one face by which a user can reach the interior of said storage element (2), characterized in that the support structure (10) is mobile between a position where it is adjoined to the roof lining and another position where it is distant from said roof lining by rotative mechanical means (9).
