MAST FOR CATENARY ASSEMBLIES FOR ELECTRIC RAILWAY VEHICLES

A catenary mast for overhead line systems of electrically powered rail vehicles is designed as a pair of springs with two hollow sections (1, 1', 2) connected to one another in the region of their ends. This makes it possible to arrange guides (6, 6') on the hollow sections (1, 1', 2) for a support member (7, 7') that extends the hollow sections (1, 1', 2) upward, which support member carries a cantilever arm (13) that holds the overhead line (14), wherein the support member (7, 7') is displaceable and lockable in the guides (6, 6').
