Lockable belt latch for a three-point safety belt

The present invention relates to a belt tongue (1) for a three-point safety belt (3) with - a C-shaped tongue base body (2), - a holding plate (5) arranged on the C-shaped tongue base body (2), - a C-shaped deflection and clamping element (4) for the three-point safety belt (3), - which is pivotally mounted on a curved base surface (11) of the C-shaped tongue base body (2), - and which can be moved by forces exerted by the three-point safety belt (3) from a basic position in which the belt passage is released to a belt blockade position in which the belt passage is blocked, wherein - on the edge sides of the C-shaped tongue base body (2), walls (12, 13) projecting from the curved base surface (11) are respectively provided, and - a cover (6) which covers the hollow of the C-shaped tongue base body (2) and the C-shaped deflection and clamping element (4) inserted therein at least in sections, wherein - the cover (6) is fastened to at least one edge side (9, 10) of the C-shaped tongue base body (2) running parallel to the pivot axis of the C-shaped deflection and clamping element (4).
