The invention relates to a carrier device (1) for fastening optical devices in or on a motor vehicle, which comprises at least one base body (2) and at least one fastening element for fastening at least one optical element (4). According to the invention, the base body (2) consists at least partially of a plastic material and comprises at least one reinforcing element (3). The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a carrier device (1).
