Cleaning device for the wheels of a light vehicle

The wheel cleaning machine (4) of a light vehicle (36) comprises at least two generally cylindrical rotating brushes (2), comprising two parallel axes arranged horizontally, designed to receive between them at least one wheel (4). A motor drive (22) rotates the brushes in opposite directions of rotation. The wheels (4) rest on a lower support (46) located below the brushes (2). A means is provided for driving the wheels (4) in rotation around their respective axis. In one embodiment, the lower support (46) is a conveyor belt constituting the means for driving the wheels (4) in rotation. A receptacle (8) collects the dirt detached from the belt (46) by scrapers (48).
