Bicycle carrier

To improve a bicycle carrier for rear-side mounting on a motor vehicle body, comprising a carrier base with a mounting device for connecting the bicycle carrier to a rear of the motor vehicle body and at least one wheel receiving unit arranged on the carrier base for a bicycle, in such a manner as to provide improved options for a user, it is proposed that the carrier base comprises a container having a luggage compartment.
