Compressed air brake pipe

A compressed air brake hose containing the following layers: I. An outer layer made of a molding compound containing at least 50 wt.-% PA11 and/or PA12, as well as II. an inner layer made of a molding compound containing at least 50 wt.-% polyamide whose monomer units contain on average at least 8 carbon atoms, with the exception of PA11 and PA12, can be manufactured cost-effectively; it exhibits high burst pressure resistance even at elevated temperature, good low-temperature impact strength, as well as good aging resistance.
