Method for manufacturing charge air hoses

A continuous liner (3), an elastomeric inner layer (7), a knitted fabric layer (12), an intermediate elastomeric layer (20), a fabric layer (17) and an elastomeric outer layer (22) are formed continuously to form the air hose. The fabric layers are made from endless yarns having different helical orientations, and the air hose blanks are cut and shaped by a mandrel. An independent claim is included for air hose.
