DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
DRIVE
January 28, 2015
A drive control device for a hybrid vehicle with which suitable starting of the engine is achieved is provided. This drive control device is equipped with a clutch (CL) that engages/disengages a carrier (C1) of a first planetary gear device (14) and a carrier (C2) of a second planetary gear device (16), and a brake (BK) that engages/disengages the carrier (C2) with respect to a housing (26). When a first electric motor (MG1) and a second electric motor (MG2) are receiving reaction force, the engine (12) is started by the output torque of the second electric motor (MG2). Therefore, even if the first electric motor (MG1) fails, for example, the engine (12) can be started suitably by the cranking of the second electric motor (MG2).
