DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
DRIVE
January 28, 2015
Provided is a drive control device for a hybrid vehicle with which suitable limp-home driving is executed when an electric motor fails. This drive control device is equipped with a clutch (CL) that engages/disengages a carrier (C1) of a first planetary gear device (14) and a carrier (C2) of a second planetary gear device (16), and a brake (BK) that engages/disengages the carrier (C2) with respect to a housing (26). When a first electric motor (MG1) fails, limp-home driving control is performed whereby drive power is output by an engine (12) and the reaction force to that drive power is received by a second electric motor (MG2), thus enabling limp-home driving by means of the direct torque of the engine (12), within the range of the reaction force received by the second electric motor (MG2).
