The invention relates to a headlight for vehicles with an optical assembly unit (1), which optical assembly unit (1) is pivotably mounted on a bearing element (7) about a first axis (2), which bearing element (7) carries an adjusting device (3) spaced apart from the first axis (2), which adjusting device (3) has an adjusting element (4) that is translationally adjustable and coupled with the optical assembly unit (1), and wherein between the adjusting device (3) and the optical assembly unit (1) there is an articulated connection (5), and wherein the adjusting device (3) is pivotably mounted on the bearing element (7) about a second axis (6) and the second axis (6) runs parallel to the first axis (2). According to the invention, it is provided that on the bearing element (7) a bearing dome (8) or a bearing bore is provided, on which the adjusting device (3) with a corresponding bearing dome or with a corresponding bearing bore (9) is pivotably mounted about the second axis (6).
