CHARGING-PORT CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
DRIVE
January 21, 2015
When an engaging portion of a charging connector and an engaged portion of a charging port are in an engagement state, a charging-port control device for an electric vehicle limits a releasing operation of the engaging state. More specifically, upon controlling a locking mechanism that achieves a lock state in which the release of the engagement state is restrained and an unlock state in which the releasing operation is allowed, only when a charge request is being outputted from a vehicle side, the charging-port control device sets the locking mechanism to the lock state. With this operation, a situation in which connection between the charging port and the charging connector is unexpectedly released during the charge can be avoided.
