Actuating device for a closure or sun screen

A maneuvering device (32) of a closing or solar protection equipment (10), notably of the blind or roller shutter type, comprises a fixed housing (42) having two aligned bearings (44) defining a rotation axis (200), a worm screw (34) guided in rotation in the bearings (44) and a maneuvering rod (54) for driving the worm screw (34) in rotation. The worm screw (34) is traversed by an axial hole (52), the maneuvering rod (54) being able to be inserted into the axial hole (52) by rotationally securing the maneuvering rod (54) to the worm screw (34). A snap-fit connection between an elastically deformable clip (56) and a bearing shoulder (64) allows the insertion of the maneuvering rod (54) into the axial hole (52), and blocks the withdrawal of the maneuvering rod (54) inserted in the axial hole (52).
