Control for the drive system of a working machine

The present invention shows a control for the drive system of a work machine, wherein the drive system comprises an internal combustion engine (1) with at least two outlets, via which the internal combustion engine (1) drives at least two components (4, 5) of the drive system, wherein the control has an optimization function which determines a target operating point of the internal combustion engine (1) for the respectively required power outputs of the components (4, 5) on the basis of a fuel consumption map (6) of the internal combustion engine (1) and of efficiency maps (7, 7') of the driven components (4, 5).
