The invention concerns a slat curtain (4) for obscuring a compartment, in particular for opening and closing a compartment (3) of a motor vehicle by displacement of the curtain, with a support (8), a covering (92) and flexible material (91) forming padding between the support (8) and the covering (92), the support (8) being formed by a plurality of slats (81) arranged parallel to one another and transversely with respect to a predetermined direction of displacement of the curtain (4), the covering (92) being fixed to the support (8) by lateral seams (10). The invention also concerns a method for producing such a curtain.
