A device for driving curtains mounted on motor vehicles and the like comprises a curtain holding box and means for overturning the curtain holding box and housing means for opening the cover and means for extending the curtains, and being characterized in that said device further comprises adjusting means for adjusting or controlling the opening and closing of the curtains, and driving means for driving the adjusting means through one or more outer control devices.
