The invention concerns a mounting frame (10) for a windshield wiper blade, said frame (10) comprising a body having a longitudinal extension direction (X), said body comprising first means intended to receive a bending vertebra (20) and second means defining an open lower housing (13) to accommodate an upper mounting heel of a wiping blade of the wiper blade, characterized in that said second means comprise recesses (52) facilitating the bending of said vertebra (20). The invention also concerns a windshield wiper blade comprising such a mounting frame (10). The invention further concerns a wiping system comprising such a blade.
