The invention consists of an articulated seat or bench disposed in an enclosure, such as a deepened cabin of a utility vehicle or a private vehicle. The articulated seat is fixed to the floor of said enclosure and pivots from a sitting position allowing a person to sit in a folded position freeing a volume in the rear part. The seat comprises a rear support extending upward with a backrest and supporting a mobile seat pan, the rear support resting on the floor of the enclosure when the seat is in the sitting position. The seat comprises a connecting rod articulated with the lower end of the rear support by a first articulation axis, the front end of the connecting rod being articulated with the floor of the enclosure by a second articulation axis fixed on the front end allowing said connecting rod to lift at the rear and to tip forward during the seat folding movement. The seat comprises a headrest articulated at its lower end with the rear support by a third articulation axis, said headrest being articulated at its upper end by a fourth articulation axis fixed to the ceiling of said enclosure. According to an improvement the front of the seat is supported by a front support articulated on the connecting rod by an articulation axis.
