Folding table for vehicles

A foldable wall-mounted table is disclosed. A metallic support profile can be fixed with a fastening section to a wall in such a manner that a vertical contact surface of the fastening section lies against the wall. A support section is formed on the support profile, which extends from the fastening section toward a side facing away from the contact surface, and at its upper boundary there is a horizontal load surface. A stop is formed on the support profile, offset vertically upward and horizontally in the direction of the wall-side contact surface. A table top is provided whose thickness corresponds to the vertical distance between the load surface and the stop. Between the load surface and the stop, a free space is formed that is at least as large in the horizontal direction as the thickness of the table top. The table top is connected to the support profile in such a manner that it is pivotable, so that a shorter section of the table top can pivot in the free space between the stop and the load surface between two end positions, wherein in the first position the table top rests with a first plate side on the load surface and lies against the stop with an opposite plate side, and the longer section of the table top extends in the horizontal direction. In the second position, the table top is arranged in a vertical orientation in the free space between the load surface and the stop, so that the longer section of the table top extends in the vertical direction from the support profile.
