Roof-rack holder

The holder (2) has a support section lying at a roof inner surface at which the holder is temporarily fixed. A fastening section includes a V profile and is formed by a lower section facing towards a base part (14) of an outer side part, and a lateral section facing towards an end section (15) of a roof profile. The lower and lateral sections include a heat hardenable fastening unit i.e. structure foam (18). A gap is formed between the roof inner surface and an end section of the holder. The support section includes a fastening opening, which is coaxial with a roof opening.
