ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKING UNIT FOR VEHICLES
DRIVE
November 19, 2014
Electromechanical locking unit (1) for the vehicle sector, in particular as a charging connector lock or steering lock, which enables fast and reliable braking of an electric motor or a locking member in the end positions thereof while being cost-effectively manufacturable. The electromechanical locking unit has an electric motor (2) and a locking mechanism which comprises a locking member (3) and a gear train for transmitting a driving force from the electric motor (2) to the locking member (3) in order to move it between a locked position and an unlocked position. At least one moving element (4) in the locking mechanism is associated with a mechanical stop (5) which blocks its movement at a defined end position, and the stop (5) and/or the moving element (4) comprises an elastic element (6) which is arranged such that it is mechanically deformed before reaching the defined end position in order to delay the movement of the moving element (4).
