The invention relates to a method for loading a gas turbine. In order to keep the temperature load on gas turbine components low and/or to enable the gas turbine to start as quickly as possible from idle to part load or even rated load, it is provided according to the invention that during the loading process, a liquid is introduced at least temporarily into the air stream drawn in by a compressor of a gas turbine and/or into the flow path of the compressor.
