Water heater and heating system for an electrical vehicle with a water heater

The present invention relates to a water heater with a housing (2) that has pipe connections for the connection of water-carrying pipes and encloses a circulation chamber (14a, 14b), into which at least one heating fin (18) provided with an electrical heating element (22) projects. The present invention provides a water heater that can be manufactured in a particularly compact manner and has good efficiency, wherein the circulation chamber (14a, 14b) is surrounded by a housing lower part (4) formed from plastic, which is covered by a housing cover (6) forming the heating fin (18) and made from a material that conducts heat well. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a heating system for an electrically operated vehicle with a drive motor and a battery supplying the drive motor, as well as a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the battery and a liquid circuit into which a water heater according to the invention is connected.
