MANUAL WHEEL CHAIR PROPULSION SYSTEM

The present invention refers to a propulsion system (10) for a manual wheelchair (12), the system (10) comprising: a mounting clamp (14) configured to attach to the manual wheelchair (12); a propulsion unit (10a) selectively attachable to the mounting clamp (14), with the propulsion unit (10a) comprising: a drive wheel assembly (18); and a support suspension configured to provide linear movement of a drive wheel (18a) of a drive wheel assembly (18) relative to the manual wheelchair (12).
