Retaining device for a wind deflector

The present invention relates to a holding device (1) for a wind deflector, which is arranged above the rear seats of a vehicle, wherein the wind deflector consists of at least one horizontal cover as well as the actual wind protection, which is pivotable about a transverse axis into an upward-directed operating position, wherein for locking the wind deflector, a lateral holding device (1) is provided on each side, the pin (2) or pin of a pin receptacle (2) of which can be inserted into corresponding receptacles of the lateral interior trim of the vehicle, wherein the pin (2) or the pin receptacle (2) of the holding device (1) is designed as a substantially cylindrically formed molded part, which is arranged within the holding device (1) spring-loaded (3) and axially displaceable. According to the invention, the holding device is characterized in that the pin (2) or the pin receptacle (2) can be fixed in the inserted position in the receptacle by means of a closable locking mechanism (3), wherein the closable locking mechanism (3) is designed such that the pin or the pin receptacle (2) in the inserted position in the receptacle within the holding device (1) is blocked or locked by means of at least one locking element (3a).
