A method for regulating CO emissions of a gas turbine (1) with a compressor (4) and a turbine (8) is intended to permit comparatively lower power output of the gas turbine during part-load operation while maintaining compliant CO emissions. For this purpose, compressed air is extracted in a region of the compressor (4) and supplied via a flow-controlled recirculation line (18) to the inlet of the compressor (4), wherein the flow of the recirculation line (18) is controlled on the basis of a CO exhaust gas content at the outlet of the turbine (8).
