The invention relates to a device (1) for installation in a utility vehicle (N) and preferably for warning of and/or taking into account a utility vehicle-relevant driving restriction. The device (1) comprises a receiving unit for receiving at least one utility vehicle-relevant information (RI) which is sent by a facility (2) arranged at a traffic infrastructure (B) or at least adjacent thereto and which concerns the traffic infrastructure (B), and a provision unit for providing the utility vehicle-relevant information (RI) and/or information based thereon to the driver of the utility vehicle (N). The invention further relates to a facility (2) for placement at or at least adjacent to a traffic infrastructure (B) and preferably for warning of and/or communicating a utility vehicle-relevant driving restriction. The facility (2) comprises a functional unit for storing and/or processing at least one utility vehicle-relevant information (RI) concerning the traffic infrastructure (B) and a transmission unit for sending the utility vehicle-relevant information (RI) to one or more utility vehicles (N).
